Young workers in British Columbia have realized you can make the world a better place AND improve your salary by merging your social justice interests and collective action principles (from mom and dad’s union hand book). A growing number are fighting McJobs by bringing unions into their workplaces, (afterall anyone can join a union, you just have to know how). 1,500 volunteers have joined EARN, Employee Action & Rights Network to make it happen. Awesome.
