Your Guild bargaining committee and Zoomer Media management reached a tentative agreement today. The deal includes overall salary increases of nearly 10% over three years, including across-the-board increases of 2% per year. As well, nearly half of the members of the bargaining unit will receive salary adjustments to reflect the value of their work to the company. The deal also includes a new three-day leave for non-birth parents upon the birth or adoption of a child.
The bargaining committee is unanimously recommending the deal. We are planning a membership meeting for early February to discuss the deal with you and then you will have a chance to vote on it.
