You may have noticed that we are circulating a survey among Guild members at CP about the upcoming round of negotiations for a new collective agreement.

This note is just to let you know that we didn’t forget about you when we sent that note out. Because the Pagemasters agreement is separate from the one we have with The Canadian Press, we want to make sure that the bargaining surveys are separate, too. In addition, we know that some of the basic workplace issues are different, so we’re fine-tuning the survey questions so that they’re more reflective of the things that affect you in the workplace.

We expect the survey will be ready to go next week, at which time we’ll e-mail you a link so you can fill out the survey online. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at the CMG office, or speak to Carrie White.
