Under the CMG’s bylaws, any proposed amendments to the bylaws must be received at the Guild office no later than 60 days prior to the convention, which is taking place in Toronto June 4-5. As of the deadline a total of 14 amendments to CMG bylaws have come forward and one general resolution has also been proposed.
The deadline has now passed to propose bylaw amendments.
Resolutions will be accepted up until the convention, and can even be made from the convention floor. If you would like to direct the Guild to take a specific position on an issue or undertake a particular project, you can submit a resolution by clicking here and using our form.
For members in the CBC branch: seven amendments to the branch bylaws have been proposed. You can read them by clicking here .
