Adoption of agenda — Moved by Krista, seconded by Naomi, approved unanimously.

Adoption of past minutes with change – March 11, 2021. Moved by Lyne, seconded by Naomi, approved unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS

Staff Rep Assignments

• Vish sent out an email with the new staff rep assignments to the group for review.
• The staff reps are listed on the CMG website.
• Committees to reach out to staff reps directly, Vish to reach out to staff  reps for training, LEC to reach out to staff reps as much as needed.

SRC Newsletter

• SRC puts out a great monthly newsletter to its members that was shared with the LEC.
• Olena and Lyne to produce a draft CMG CBC Toronto Newsletter for review at the next LEC meeting. The group will figure out the schedule for the newsletter.

ONGOING BUSINESS

CMG Convention

• We have not hit our maximum number of delegates for the convention in June.
• The LEC will reach out to members who are interested to fill up open slots.
• There was a discussion about doing a prep session and/or sending a backgrounder email to our backgrounder in May.

Member Pandemic Survey

• Thank you to everyone who filled in the pandemic survey.
• The LEC will be sharing some of the highlights with members through the private Facebook page and the newsletter.
• These survey results will be used to inform our conversations with members and with CBC management.

May Day

• The LEC decided to put a pause on doing the cookies for now. Things have changed with COVID number rising in Toronto and a stay-at-home order in effect for the city. 
• We will be sending a May Day email to all members in English and French that will link to a post on our sites about an important Supreme Court ruling won by the Guild that gave union leaders added protection to exercise our right to speak out.
• There will be links to this web post on our Facebook social media pages.
