Your bargaining committee met with TVO management this week, and we made some progress on non-monetary issues with the Authority signing off on language that we had proposed. As a result, we now have agreement on shortening the probation period, and we gained some clarification around the process for members getting feedback on their application when not interviewed for a position.
We are cautiously optimistic that bargaining will proceed in a similar fashion. We are planning a few more days of negotiation in late October to clear non-monetary issues and to start delving into monetary matters. At that time, we will hold a membership meeting to seek direction from you.
