Our bargaining committee met with management last week and held two days of negotiations. We continue to make progress and have agreed on language regarding benefits, leaves of absence, and compressed work week arrangements.
While we are getting closer in a number of areas, progress on other issues, particularly monetary items, has been slower than we would have liked. We will be meeting again with the management team this week and on February 23 to discuss monetary items.
We will keep you informed about the results of the next couple of meetings.
We have carried the message to VICE management that members want to see a fair agreement without further delays.
